Spring has Sprung

A very happy spring to our students, staff, and parents! I hope that everyone’s had a nice Easter week off and a chance to recharge for the final stretch of the school year. Looking around the school, you can see the signs of spring on students’ faces, and feel it in the airiness of the general school atmosphere; even the transition back in from the holiday seemed painless. Of course, we still have a few more days to cross off in our diaries, and there’s still a lot to do, but it seems that in this weather we can accomplish anything, right? And look at what we’ve done so far:

This year saw one of the greatest tests we’ve had to face since opening 3 year ago—our school inspected by Skolinpektion; and it is with more than a little pride I write that, thanks to the hard work of our staff, students, and parents, we’ve proven to be a school of a high caliber, indeed. Of course soon we will pass on the results of the inspection in greater detail through schoolsoft, but my gratitude wouldn’t allow me to hold off any longer, and with this announcement I’d like to once again (because really you deserve all the thanks in the world) thank everyone who’s helped make this possible. Thank you, everyone.

As I write this we have only 29 school days left in the term. Wow. And with so much left to accomplish it’s sure to feel like just a week. Let’s finish strong, everyone.

The IESH library has launched a new updated version of the IESH library website this past week. IESH Library website 2.0 welcomes you with a fresh, clear-cut design and easy-to-use layout. It was created to give academic support to teachers, students and parents. It offers a collection of reliable resources, educational apps, online training in Google software, book recommendations, important library news, access to the library's online catalog, and extra practice material for each subject.
